Careful preparation and removal help press-on claw nails sit more evenly and can make it easier to preserve reusable sets. Always follow the instructions supplied with the adhesive you choose.
Before Application
- Wash your hands and dry them completely.
- Gently push back the cuticles.
- Lightly buff the surface of each natural nail.
- Remove dust and oil with an alcohol prep pad.
- Lay out the press-on nails and match every piece to the correct natural nail before applying adhesive.
Applying Adhesive Tabs
Select a tab that fits the natural nail without touching the surrounding skin. Apply it according to the tab instructions, remove the protective layer, align the press-on nail close to the cuticle, and press firmly and evenly.
Positioning Pointed Claw Nails
Check the center line before pressing the nail into place. Longer pointed silhouettes make small alignment differences more visible. Avoid placing the artificial nail on the skin or cuticle.
After Application
Avoid water immediately after application so the adhesive can set according to its instructions. Handle long pointed tips carefully around clothing, hair, packaging, keyboards, and other daily objects.
Safe Removal
Never pull or force the nails off. Soak according to the adhesive instructions, then gently loosen the edges with a wooden cuticle stick. If there is resistance, repeat the soaking process rather than applying force.
Cleaning and Storage
Gently remove remaining adhesive without damaging the decorative surface. Keep the nails in a clean, dry container and protect pointed tips from pressure. Reuse depends on the application method, wear, removal, and care.
When to Stop
Discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs. Keep small accessories away from children and use nail products only as intended.
